Low Income Memberships
We have a limited number of Low Income Memberships (LIMs) available to full time students, unemployed people, people on benefits and people on a low income, that would otherwise struggle to attend MicroBurn. In addition to this, we recognise that LIMs are still out of the reach of people on the lowest incomes, so this year we are introducing Radically Low Income Memberships (RLIMs) at a nominal cost to those who meet the criteria (not have attended a burn or other festival in the previous twelve months due to their financial situation, and would not be able to afford to attend if offered only a regular Low Income Membership). Some assistance with transportation may also be offered, on a case by case basis.
Applications for Low Income Memberships are now closed.
Kitchen Memberships
The community kitchen will serve one hearty meal a day with plenty of trimmings in the early evening Thursday through to Sunday. Everything will be vegan with gluten free options. Everyone who buys a membership for the kitchen is expected to do a kitchen shift (namely prepping, cooking, or cleaning up).
No other dietary requirements are guaranteed but if you contact kitchen@microburn.org, we will try to support you.
You can buy this at the same time as your membership for £15 (children 12 and under, £7.50).
